Well made and relatively easy to assemble. The metal frame wasn’t the correct length, I had to shorten them to fit (not easy to cut)and even then the fender didn’t fit the tire shape and sits uneven over the tires on the front and back. my bike, a DAWES SST, (700 X 28c), has the size tires advertised to fit these fenders but alas they don’t. Also I had to attached the fenders to the frame using zip-lock plastic strips since the attachment hardware didn’t fit my frame.

I have a Specialized Globe with 700×42 tires. I picked these fenders because they say they will Fit this size tire. What a challenge to install. I’m pretty handy with instructionas and tools , but it took me 3 hrs. to install these. Instructions are minimal and vague. I had to cut support rods and cut the rear fender front clip to fit the rear fender. The front fender was the major problem. You need about 1 inch of clearance between the frame and the tire in order for the thing to Fit. If you do……

Very attractive and well designed fender. The installation is a little tricky, but fairly well detailed for most cases.



I wish they’d thrown in one or two extra nuts, because I didn’t tighten them down tight enough and one of them got lost. Now I have to figure out which nut I need to replace it or buy a whole set for $11 plus shipping.



Still, the fender is very nice looking and works great.

The fenders fit the 26″ bike frame much better than adapting the universal set I had before, they do keep us clean in the wet road conditions. I did remove the plastic safety insert that attached the fender struts and got a much nicer fit. TC

Good fenders. Provide good coverage on our tandem, especially for my wife. It was necessary to do some minor trimming of the rear fender to make it fit between the chain stays, but can be easily accomplished. Highly recommended for keeping your bike and back clean with very minimal weight. A must for serious tandem riders.
