Dewalt 12 volt replacement battery. The replacement takes longer to charge up but DEWALT DC9071 XRP also lasts longer and has more power than the original batteries that came with my Dewalt 12 volt driver/drill. I am totally pleased with it.

Dewalt and Amazon.com Rock!!!. The new Nickel Cadmium Batteries work better and last longer than the original Dewalt 12-Volt Batteries I received with my Drill/Screw Gun 12 years ago. Hopefully the charge will hold up longer over time too. Thank you Amazon for the great price too! I enjoy DEWALT DC9071 XRP .

Really bad battery. I have three such batteries and all of Black & Decker HPB18-OPE do not hold a good charge. Would not purchase product, not worth the money.

B&D should be prosectued for these junk batteries. The tools are fair tools. To bad the batterys suck. Everyone should get together and have a class action law suit.Takes 10 minutes to run the battery down and 3 hours to charge it. Pure junk. I have a whole set of the tool to is the bad thing. I like Black & Decker HPB18-OPE .

not economical. I can buy a new Grass Hog for another $10 complete with a new battery. The batteries I have only lasted a year. Black & Decker HPB18-OPE is not very economical. Think i will try a better manufacture of grass cutter.

works on a non XRP 14.4 Dewalt drill. Wow, what a difference a new battery can make. I like DeWalt DC9091 XRP .

Better than home depot. Cheaper than going to home depot. No shipping charges. You can’t beat that. I like DeWalt DC9091 XRP .

GREAT RECHARGEABLE BATTERY. I have owned a DeWalt cordless drill for 4 years and have had nothing bad to say about it. DeWalt DC9091 XRP rechargeable battery charges in a very short time and holds the charge for longer than some other batteries I have used. Eventually they will no longer charge back up and hold a charge, thus I stayed with the same brand because of my satisfaction.

product has performed as designed. the statement (warning) that came with the charger is quite hard to understand. example : if the equipment is being used and the battery is depleted (will not operate the equipment ), the voltage on the battery will probably be less than the voltage listed on tne warning letter. Everything worked fine.

Black & Decker PS180 14.4 Volt Battery Charger #418352-02 (Purchased on 11/11/2006).

Vendor should have informed customer @ the time of order to get battery checked, saying that “if your battery is bad the charger will brake down and then Black and Decker PS180 will not be warranted”

Instead I was not told at the time of ordering charger, (because they want to make a sell immorally) I found out about the condition in terms of printed note when I received the charger. Even if I decide to send Black and Decker PS180 back I have to pay $6 to $7 shipping for claiming my money back.

I think this is not moral. They should inform the customer upfront when he/she is ordering the charger.

junk. This thing will over-charge your battery and ruin Black and Decker PS180 if you leave Black and Decker PS180 charging more than a day. Spend a few $$$ more and get the smart charger (the orange one) Black and Decker PS180 will not keep charging when the battery is full. Also the power on the unit will fry-out if left plugged in.
