Great fenders. Fully fit my bicycle, no installation problems. support arms are nice to keep it sturdy and secure. they also allow for slight adjustments to fit your tire perfectly. It says the compound of these fenders is indestructible! Don’t want to test that though. Mudflaps are nice. These fenders keep my dry from tire water! of course it won’t protect you from going through a big puddle, fenders will protect you want water that is brought up from the wheel. These are nice when it is……

Even though I have an older bike the fender set required no modifications. The install was straight forward and took about an hour. The fenders are working very well.

I read in reviews before I bought this product that you had to be a little mechanically oriented to install them. So I was ready with the drill and different screws before they were delivered. When I installed them they went on without any problem. No refabricating or anything and they look sharp. I don’t know if I just happened to have a bike these work well with or what but it didn’t take me long at all to install them and they feel very sturdy. Good product.

These “universal” fenders did not fit, at least not totally and definitely not at all when I tried it in combination with my rear rack. However, after buying some longer screws (and a couple shorter ones) some lock tight nuts and a whole lot of zip ties at the hardware store I made it work.



I bought the yellow version so it wouldn’t fade in the sun as bad (plus you can’t beat “free” shipping). Once I got them on they did their job perfectly, that is keeping all the mud and rain from s……

“universal” fit can be tricky. They fit…after some cutting and bolting a new hole plus a few extra modifications so they wouldn’t interfere with the tires and brakes.

They now work. and I have high hopes they will keep the wet stripe off my back ( and elsewhere) during inclement weather.

These look great and fit very well on my wife’s Trek Placid, but I did have to purchase some new bolts and nuts to fasten part of the fenders to the fork and to the frame, but it was easy.

I like these fenders although I have to agree with the other person who responded with the “Planet Bike”logo on the fenders. It is quite large and realy does detract from the fenders and it can not be removed without repainting over it. Also Amazon did not pack this very well and the tape holding the box shut came open that with the fact that the fenders come in a plastic bag caused me to lose one pice of hardware. PB sent me a new part right away.

The attached mud flaps are much better than the PB Hardcore ATB fenders and look better too. Rear mudflap goes about six inches longer than on the PB Hardcore ATB fenders. If you are trailering your dog or kid behind the bike I’d go with these to keep from throwing road crap in their face.

I figured these would be better for me because I would like to take my fenders off for some rides. I was wrong, the slick technology advertised is pretty much rubber bands.



Fickle, wobbly, unstable… Man, I should have gone with regular fenders. Also, one of the beams broke, so I had to join it back together. Only been used about 5 months of street commuting.



In summation, if you have the eyelets for regular fenders; BUY REGULAR FENDERS! Regular fenders are superior, easi……

I put these fenders on a mountain bike with a front suspension fork and disc brakes that had no eyelets or other accommodations for fenders at all. By bending the stainless steel rods, the fenders can be positioned exactly where you want them.



I also drilled a couple of extra holes in the front fender so that I could rotate it more toward the ground behind the tire, to keep most mud and dirt out of the front derailleur and chain. The front fender is secured to the top of the front……

I have an old rigid frame/fork ATB and originally bought for it the ‘Planet Bike Hardcore ATB Fenders’–the ones that attach via screws into eyelets on your frame. They fit perfectly and solidly. However the rear fender interfered with my rear rack’s mounting; both preferred the same eyelets and I would’ve had to bend the stays on the fender to get them to coexist. So I reluctantly returned that set for this SpeedEZ fender set with the eyelet-less attachment mechanism.



Now the rear ……

The fenders are incredibly easy to install, and can be used on my hybrid bike which lacks some of the eyelets required to install regular fenders. The coverage is a lot better than my old, cheaper “Freddy Fenders” and this one even has mud-flaps. I originally thought that the lack of rigidness in the attachment bars would be a problem, but I ride fast and hard in traffic and I haven’t had any scraping yet. I highly recommend these, especially to someone installing fenders on a hybrid/mountain……

I recently purchased these fenders for a modified magna mountain bike I own with dual suspension. I was a little skeptical at first that I would be able to attach these to the bike, considering the model type and the fact that my bike has 24″ wheels instead of 26″ wheels and the mounting brackets on my bike aren’t considered standard. I had to use some of my own screws and re-bend the rods to fit correctly. (I doubt a user would have these problems with a regular bike.)

Beautiful fenders at a good price. Planet Bike fenders are the most complete and best fitting for all bicycles. Had to shorten the stays on the front fender for proper fit, easily done. Look great!
