Chicco Car Seat

Solid product. Purchased this as the 2nd base to put in our other car. Very happy with the KeyFit so far. Base is very easily installed using the LATCH system. My wife insisted on having Chicco Car Seat checked out by the local PD, and Chicco Car Seat was fine. Given that I am not mechanically inclined, the fact that I got Chicco Car Seat installed correctly in a few minutes shows how easy Chicco Car Seat is to use. Audible clicks when the seat locks into place are nice. The one item on the actual car seat that could be improved is the canopy. A bigger canopy with better coverage would be nice. We end up draping a towel or blanket over the handle for additional protection.

Great Product. The Chicco Travel System, including the infant car seat and base, is a great product. My daughter was born only 5lbs 14oz, and she was very snug in the car seat from day one. She is now three months old and this car seat is a great fit for her. Her head does not shift around at all. The base fits perfectly in my car’s latch system, and the car seat snaps securely into the base. I am very happy with this produce and would recommend Chicco Car Seat to anybody with a newborn.

Perfect Fit. This is the base for the best car seat on the market, in my opinion. We bought another base for our second car. Chicco Car Seat fits like a glove, of course. Well worth the money, highest safety ratings. A small price to pay for the safest thing out there for your baby.

Chicco Travel System

Hit all my “must-haves”. I’m an art director and look for great styling and design for the items in my life. All the strollers I was initially attracted to were, of course, well out of my budget at $600-$700. Crazy! And I was disappointed over and over by the quality of the materials and tubing I found in the other strollers that are in my price range. Then last night I saw this in “another store” and felt immediately that Chicco Travel System was everything I had in mind. It’s solid-looking and feeling, well-designed, an attractive color palette, and *most important*, Chicco Travel System fits in the back of my SUV that has 3rd row seating (not a lot of space). Chicco Travel System folds up like an umbrella stroller, but doesn’t look like one when it’s unfolded. Another really important factor is that I’m 5′7″ and my husband is 6′5″. We both feel comfortable with the height of the handles, which was a pleasant surprise. I was more concerned about finding a stroller that was tall enough for him than for me.

The Trevi is not bulky, and Chicco Travel System doesn’t look like one of those puffy rolling sofa strollers. It’s clean, contemporary, Italian design and highly functional.

I don’t need or want to buy 2-3 different strollers to suit all our various needs. In this day and age, well-designed and multi-functional is IN. Waste and bloat is OUT. The Trevi is a great choice at any price point.

I love this stroller. I am a stay at home mom of of 3. I started with an Evenflo travel system for my first son. Moved to a graco duo glider when my second son was born 13 mos later. When my daugter was born 3 years later I need another single stroller.I took my daughter to many baby stores and put her in many different strollers for “test drives” after much searching I chose the Chicco trevi. We have been using Chicco Travel System for the last year and I LOVE it!!! I saw complaints about not being able to access the storage basket when the seat was reclined, (I couldn’t in my evenflo or graco either). This stroller is comfy for my daugher and the 5 point harness keeps her strapped in. I do wish the parent cup holder was more secure, Chicco Travel System seems to fall off when I put the stroller in my trunk, but Chicco Travel System is easy enough to reattach. I wish I had chosen this for my first son instead of the evenflo. If I had done that I would not have needed to buy my daughter a new one.

The best Stroller. Great stroller, worth the money! Light weight, folds and gets very compact for smaller car trunks. I enjoy Chicco Travel System .

Why Chicco KeyFit Cortina

Chicco Cortina KeyFit

One size does not fit all. First, let me say that this seemed like a very nice system and if my daughter had fit in it, I’d have liked Chicco Cortina KeyFit ok. That being said, my child is extremely long (at 10 weeks old) thru the torso and the angle of the seat (think 45 degree) cut her off mid abdomen instead of under her tush as Chicco Cortina KeyFit would most babies. As a result, she was very uncomfortable and when you clicked the belts in place, her legs were completely immobile. Not a good combo for my little squirmer. The fabric covering the seat was also problematic. Chicco Cortina KeyFit made her VERY hot. I’d scoop her out and she’d be drenched. After being in the seat for over an hour one evening she developed a heat rash on the side of her face which frankly was upsetting to both of us. She seemed so smushed in Chicco Cortina KeyFit so no wonder she got a rash. The actually stroller itself was pretty bulky and took up all of the room in the trunk so unless you have a SUV, this system could be too big. (it’s heavy too.. but they’re all heavy)

As I stated above, this system appeared to be very safe and secure and I have seen several babies who seem quite content in theirs. Every baby is different and unfortunately you don’t know what you’re gonna get till they pop out :) At 10 weeks of age, I took my daughter to a store and placed her in every car seat there.. We ended up buying the Orbit travel system cause the car seat fit her so much better. Chicco Cortina KeyFit cost $900 and believe me, we are not $900 stroller- type people… but when Chicco Cortina KeyFit comes to your kid, sometimes you pay for the seemingly ridiculous.

annoying!. Looks good, but I hope you have a personal grocery shopper! There are no notches on the bottom of the car seat so the seat does not s Chicco Cortina KeyFit on top of the grocery cart. Try doing a week’s worth of shopping with a huge car seat in the main part of the buggy! Good luck!

Great for a taller parent. After spending a lot of time testing strollers in store, this one was absolutely my choice. My husband and I are both very tall and this is so comfortable to push around relative to height. I was actually delighted by how light the car seat/carrier was, and I thought the fold up was a breeze compared to some of the bulky Gracos we tested. Positioning the seat for forward facing use (without the carrier) was also very easy. The car base is extremely secure and clicks into place so you can tell its in there properly. Frankly when Chicco Cortina KeyFit comes to ease of use I can’t imagine anything else better than the Cortina system. I have read some places that the carrier does not fit in shopping carts. That does not bother me, we use the baby carrier or sling when shopping or just take the stroller in and put items underneath in the storage compartment. As a first time mom I am very impressed with this item and consider Chicco Cortina KeyFit a great value for the price.

Chicco Cortina Stroller

Deemed UNSAFE by certified seat installer!!!. I purchased this seat on the recommendation of Consumer Reports, expecting the safest seat on the market. In order to make certain Chicco Cortina Stroller was installed perfectly, I visited a local California police department and had a trained and certified car seat inspector install it.

Where the LATCH system attaches (or along the belt path if not using LATCH) the seat is very secure. Won’t budge an inch. HOWEVER, the back of the seat and base remain completely untethered and will lift up at least seven inches off the seat. My installer said this is incredibly unsafe in the event of being rear ended at moderate to high speeds.

I spoke with Chicco’s car seat safety person who said Chicco Cortina Stroller isn’t a concern because most accidents are head on collisions. She also mentioned that in the past month they have received at least eight other complaints from the California Highway Patrol about this issue.

I’ve been looking into this issue extensively and have learned that all infant seats with bases are designed this way and have the same problem. It’s so common Chicco Cortina Stroller has a name: Rebound.

So, unless you are certain that you will not be rear-ended avoid this and all infant seats designed to pop out of a base at all costs. They are not safe. Yes, being able to easily remove your child from the car is a great feature, but Chicco Cortina Stroller IS NOT worth risking the safety of your child. My local certified police installer deems this seat and others of the same style unsafe. And from the mouth of Chicco’s own representative, so does the California Highway Patrol.

Britax Roundabout, Britax Roundabout Advantage, Britax Galaxy and the Britax Marathon are all convertible seats that are VERY safe and have been tested using a tether in a rear facing position that removes this ‘rebound’ issue.

For the sake of your child, bypass convenience and go with safety.

Wish I had this with the first two kids.. I initally chose this carseat because of its safety recommendation through Consumer Reports. The base is easy to install and level. The carseat inserts and removes easily without disturbing the baby. I read a couple of reviews that states Chicco Cortina Stroller and the stroller were too heavy. Not so. Other systems seemed too light and flimsy to me– this one just seems sturdy. I like the “one pull” adjustment strap in the front of the carseat. Chicco Cortina Stroller makes adjusting straps to fit the baby simple. I like the fact that this carseat is rear facing up to 30 lbs.

The stroller works well–wheels turn easily and roll smoothly. The seat fully reclines and the front tray removes easily providing full access to the baby, (which is great for rolling around a newborn bringing her room to room with me at home.) Chicco Cortina Stroller collapses one handed and re-expands to the last position you had Chicco Cortina Stroller in.

Over all I am very pleased with system. I would recommend if you want both, to purchase them as a travel system as Chicco Cortina Stroller is a lot cheaper than purchasing them separately.

Love the stroller, but the size…. I really do love this travel system. I was extremely interested in the KeyFit system and the stroller seemed to have what I wanted. I really likes that the recline on the stroller wasn’t eleastic and string controlled. The infant seat fits so easily into the stroller.

The only thing at all that is kind of a bummer is that, as a full size stroller, I can’t always take Chicco Cortina Stroller with me everywhere. I have a Prius and Chicco Cortina Stroller takes up a good deal of space in the storage area. I take advantage of all available space in the car, though, because I love the stroller and looking at lightweight and/or umbrella strollers makes me sad.

Chicco Stroller Twin OK?

Chicco Twin Stroller

Simply Awesome!. Positives:

The car seat installed extremely easily. So much easier than the other seat we bought for our older son.

The car seat latches in and comes out very easily.

The car seat latches into the stroller and comes out very easily.

The stroller also works great for our 2 year old as well when necessary.

The stroller handles amazingly well. Chicco Twin Stroller is extremely easy to maneuver with just one hand and works better than any other stroller I’ve ever come across.

Negatives:

The car seat latch straps were ALMOST too short to fit into the SUV. However, they did fit.

The Stroller is a little bulky when folded up, but that is to be expected with any travel system.

Overall, this system is great. Chicco Twin Stroller works very well and looks great and without any hesitation I would strongly recommend Chicco Twin Stroller to others.

Don’t waste your money!. I have the Chicco Cortina Travel Set in Discovery.

Although this set is very highly rated, I didn’t like it. This is the travel system we originally pruchased for our 3rd child (mostly because of the ratings and Chicco Twin Stroller was cute). The carseat was very large, bulky, and extremely heavy. My son used Chicco Twin Stroller till he was 2 months before he started to look very snug in the seat. Not a good thing at only 2 months (btw, he was a preemie). The 5-point harness did not adjust big enough for him to be completely comfortable, I always worried that they were hurting him. Another CON was that this seat did not fit on any grocery carts. So there we were in the grocery store. My husband pushing a cart with all the groceries and me pushing either another cart with the carseat in the big basket or the whole stroller with 2 older pre-school age children in tow :(

The stroller is very nice to look at, but believe me if you don’t read the manual, you will not be able to open, close or lock the carseat in place correctly :(

We opted to buy our son a whole new stroller system. Right now, we are very happy with the Baby Trend Sit and Stand LX Travel System.

annoying!. Looks good, but I hope you have a personal grocery shopper! There are no notches on the bottom of the car seat so the seat does not s Chicco Twin Stroller on top of the grocery cart. Try doing a week’s worth of shopping with a huge car seat in the main part of the buggy! Good luck!

Chicco Strollers for Sale

Very strudy, easy to use. We’ve used this for mall trips, airport travel and vacations. Very easy to fold and use – very sturdy for my son. Not a lot of a storage space, but I didn’t buy Chicco Strollers for Sale for the storage.

Perfect Stroller. This stroller is perfect for anyone looking for a compact stroller for quick trips, traveling, or just for convenience. I am very pleased with the strollers look and design. The shoulder strap and bag are a great addition and I haven’t found that with any other stroller. Also, for an umbrella stroller that’s reasonable priced, most don’t come with a basket underneath like this one. Also, I wanted a reclining umbrella stroller, which is also not easy to find – but this one has a unique zipper reclining position on the sides and lays down enough for a baby or toddler to sleep in comfortably!! I was most impressed with this feature on this perfect stroller! I recommend Chicco Strollers for Sale to anyone – good price too and very durable!

Great little stroller. Our main stroller is a Bob (for walking and running) but, I wanted a stroller to keep in the car. I got the Trevi first, but Chicco Strollers for Sale was just a little too big and heavy. The C6 is a perfect size for my Rav4 and my husband’s Prius. Light, functional, great color (lime), and our boy (6 months old) seems to like it. I am 5′3″ so the handles are fine, but I could see how someone taller would have a problem with stooping and kicking the back wheels. Great stroller for the price!
