I was very satisfied with this product. I own a new Schwinn mountain bike. These fenders fit perfectly. However, I own a ten year old Schwinn mountain bike that required these plastic fenders to be modified for custom fit. On the new mountain bike they were a good fit with out modification. Note – these will not fit 26″ mountain or BMX style bicycles unless you have 4″ of clearance between your fork. These are for cruiser style bicycles……..

I wanted to surprise my fiancée with a set of nice chrome fenders on her coaster bike. The size is perfect. It fits well on her Fuji Sanibel DX. They look really nice and she gets comments everytime she rides her bike.

To be sure it will fit on your bike, measure the width of the frame. It needs a 3 inch opening to acomodate the fenders. So if your tires are 2 inches wide, make sure there is at leach 1/2 inch on both sides.

I agree with Another Nature Lover – these fenders are described as fitting 2.1″ tires, but they are really over 4″ wide, so they are far too big for that size tire. Also, I tried to email their customer service to find out if I could exchange the fenders and they just never wrote me back.



A costly mistake and oversight on my part. Make sure you want 4″ fenders before you order!

First off these fenders are 3″ wide and will cover half the diameter of your 26″ wheels.

I wanted my bike to have a 2008 – 2015 style look and not the 19……

I bought these fenders with the hope of just protecting my back from flying debris from the road. My surprise was the good looks and very nice fit even though they were universal in design. I am very pleased with the good looks and the protection I was after. I would definitely recommend this addition to anyone who wanted to add fenders.
