Hi – These look like OK fenders – but be aware that you’ll need eyelets on your bike forks and frame for mounting, unless you want to create your own hardware and workarounds. The sales information claim that they work on “virtually” any bike is a bit disingenuous.

The fenders feel rather cheap and did not go on very straight without lots of adjustments, but it did come with everything you need to install onto your bike. I put mine on my Dawes Lightning 1000, which had enough clearance for the fenders. The rear fender attachment that hangs on the brake screw makes it difficult to tighten the caliper brake in place and the brake goes out of adjustment easily with a slight push so i have to be mindful not to hit the rear brake. Otherwise its a fine fender……

These fenders are a great addition to a commuter bike. They are light, go on very easily, with good installation instructions and serve their purpose very well. I’ve ridden in light and heavy rain and they do just what they are expected to do. I’d recommend them to anyone that rides a commuter, or touring bike.

They were not easy to install, despite the advertising that said they were. I have a small bike frame (13.5″) with 700cc 35mm wheels. These fenders are a tight fit and I’m still tweaking their fit because something is always rubbing somewhere. I’m not absolutely certain the fit troubles are because of the small bike frame.

The instructions that came with the fenders are better than instructions that have come with other bike components, but they still assume the person reading them……

Nice fenders.Just a little finicky when it came to attaching. I am not the most mechanically inclined individual, so I had to take a few deep breaths and count to 10. Eventually I was able to finish the project and they look good and are affective. Finally remember to check the nuts on occasion, they might work themselves loose.

Easy to install, they look great and do what they are ment to do in the rain..Have had them for over a year now and really like them. Don’t even know there there anymore. Perfect!

These are half the price of the SKS speed blades and so far they work great. They take about 10 minutes for initial setup…then after that they are pretty quick to take on and off and block water spray pretty well.

I recommend getting full length fenders even if you have a bike without eyelets. If you’re willing to do a minor amount of customization, you can simply use zip ties to mount to the frame. The quality of these fenders is great, but the fact that they are short means that you still get a lot of spray when over ~20mph. At high speeds spray off the top of the front wheel comes back in your face, spray off the lower back side of the front wheel hits your feet on the pedal down stroke and spray of……

The product is alright but the picture is really misleading. I thought they were black! I know the title says “silver aluminum” but I thought that was refering to the arms that clip onto your bike.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to SKS race blades these are not the ones. Poor design. Too many pieces.

I commute to work in Seattle, so fenders were a must. I managed to fit these on my Trek 1000 road bike, though it is a very tight fit. Once they are on, they work very well. I still have trouble positioning the rear fender tightly, but it is due to the low clearance on my brake calipers. I can see these working perfectly on a touring or cyclocross frame. Overall, I am very happy with these fenders.

Very useful on rainy days, no more splashes on my back- even protects the lower part of the frame, chain and other components from excess dirt and water. Now that I have it on bike, I wonder why didn’t I use it earlier! All of my other bicycles are getting their own.

It came with all the necessary hardware and took only about 30 min to install, very easily done!

I bought these for my brother in Hawaii, who provided details of his bike and wheel and tire size. In a nutshell, his tires are 40cm wide, so I figured 45cm wide fenders should be fine and the descripton notes they’re made to fit hybrid bikes–which is what my brother has. When he looked at the description, he was thrilled thinking I had gotten exactly the right ones and in the right size–but I hadn’t.
